NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Partial Tax Exemption
Real Property Tax Law Section 466-k

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that there will be a Public Hearing on the proposition of whether or not the North Greece Fire District, Town(s) of Greece and Parma, County of Monroe should adopt a resolution providing for partial exemption from fire district taxes, to the extent of 10% of the assessed value of the property for eligible enrolled members of an incorporated volunteer fire company, fire department or incorporated voluntary ambulance service or such eligible enrolled member and spouse residing within the North Greece Fire District, a partial tax exemption from fire district taxes, to the extent of 10% of the assessed value of the property pursuant to Section 466-k of the Real Property Tax Law.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, to be eligible for such partial tax exemption, certain other requirements must be met before the town assessor can allow such exemption as are set forth in Section 466-k of the Real Property Tax Law.

Said Public Hearing will be held on February 8, 2022, at 6 p.m. at the North Greece Fire Station #1 located at 645 N. Greece Road, North Greece, NY 14515, at which time all persons interested in the subject matter thereof will be heard concerning the same.
