After many years of dedicated service to the fire service and to the North Greece
community, Fire Chief Kevin Battaglia is retiring.

Chief Battaglia began his fire service career as a North Greece Fire Explorer in 1988,
becoming a North Greece volunteer firefighter in 1992. In 1995, he served as a
dispatcher with the Monroe County 911 Center, followed by service as a dispatcher and
career firefighter with the Brighton Fire District from 1998 to 2002.
In 2002, Chief Battaglia was hired by the North Greece Fire District as a career
firefighter. Over the next two decades, he rose through the ranks and, in 2023 was
appointed Fire Chief of the North Greece Fire District. From Explorer to volunteer firefighter, career firefighter, officer, and ultimately Fire Chief, Kevin Battaglia has dedicated nearly four decades to serving others.

Chief Battaglia you will be missed. We are grateful for your service, kindness and
leadership.  We all wish you the best in retirement.
